The Healthy Hearts Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness for heart disease and encouraging heart-healthy lifestyles.

Each year the Heart to Heart 5K event has used it's proceeds to provide new updated equipment for the Grand View Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit as well as provided Automated External Defibrillators (commonly known as AED's) for local non-profit institutions. These AED's provide a way to treat sudden cardiac death immediately by bystanders until emergency personnel can arrive. This year, the event raised enough money to provide $5,000 to cardiac rehab and to purchase an AED for Franconia Mennonite Church.

We thank all who participated, contributed, supported, and volunteered in the 2005 Aunnal Race.

We are looking forward to this years event to be held at Lake Lenape Park in Sellersville on Sunday June 4th, 2006. Take time to register now at Active.com and mark your calendar for a fun day for the whole family in the park.
