The Healthy Hearts Foundation is aware of the importance of helping to advance the programs needed to improve the medical care and overall daily lives of people who have health issues, particularly cardiac concerns. Our goal is to raise awareness for heart disease and to encourage healthy lifestyles.

The Healthy Hearts Foundation was founded by Drs. J. Todd Alderfer and David A. Travis of Alderfer & Travis Cardiology (ATC). ATC began their fund-raising efforts in 2001 with their first annual 5K Race, 1 Mile Kids Fun Run and 1.5 Mile Fitness Walk, and continue with the event each year.

Our fund-raising efforts have provided support for the local Cardiac Rehabilitation Program at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville, PA, as well as provided monies to distribute Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to various facilities in the area, such as churches, nursing homes and other community facilities.
